Italian high speed train operator Nuovo Trasporto Viaggiatori (NTV) has sold a 13% stake to Peninsula Capital. The deal was reached based on an enterprise value for NTV of EUR 1.2 billion. The stake was acquired on a pro quota basis from NTV’s existing shareholders.
NTV reports that it is rapidly expanding its activities by acquiring new trains and ended 2016 with total revenues of EUR 368.6 million and an EBITDA of EUR 96.2 million.
