West Yorkshire Combined Authority (WYCA) has announced that the construction of the new rail station at Low Moor, on the Caldervale Line, is complete and the rail station has already opened for service.
The station has been developed by WYCA in partnership with Network Rail, Northern Rail and City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council (CBMDC) and is situated approximately three miles south west of Bradford city centre. The station is ideally located to serve the communities on the outskirts of Bradford, including Low Moor, Oakenshaw and Wyke.
The station development includes: fully accessible platforms with footbridge and passenger lifts; approximately 128-space car park; passenger information displays and public address system; modern waiting shelters, lighting, seating and CCTV.
