China Railway Group will open an office in Tunisia. The announcement was made by Zied Laâdhari, the Tunisian Minister of Trade and Industry, following a meeting with a delegation of Chinese investors, led by China Railway Chairman of the Board of Directors, Wei Yankun, and secretary general of the Chinese project New Silk Road, Hong Hong.
China Railway is one of the world’s largest companies operating in infrastructure construction and manufacturing of engineering equipment and components. The group carries out the project “The new Silk Road”, which consists of building hundreds of roads, bridges and railways linking China to Europe and the Mediterranean.
