Malaysia’s Land Public Transport Commission (SPAD) announced the alignment of East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) that will link the East Coast states to the Greater Klang Valley region.
The Prime Minister, Dato’ Sri Mohd Najib bin Tun Abdul Razak officially launched the Public Inspection of the project.
The proposed alignment from the Integrated Transport Terminal (ITT) Gombak to Wakaf Bharu comprising 23 stations running along 600.3 km of track routes, locations of the interchange stations with existing railway lines in Peninsular Malaysia.
Malaysia Rail Link Sdn. Bhd. (MRL) has been tasked to undertake the construction and implementation of the ECRL project.
