The four-axle locomotives should be delivered starting with 2017, with initial order of 30 units.
”Super Cargo West” is the second lot and included the acquisition of 50 electro-diesel locomotives with four-axle or six-axle. The first 30 units will have to be delivered starting with 2020.
Under the Lot 3, or ”Super Cargo East” ÖBB will purchase 50 AC electric locomotives with six-axle. These units will be used for rail traffic in Romania, Hungary and Bulgaria and in Austria will be put into operation on Hegyeshalom (Hungarian border) – Wien route.
