Tihvin Assembly Plant “Titran-Express”, part of railway holding UWC, has successfully underwent audit of the business management system on its compliance with the requirements of international standard of railway industry IRIS.
According to the audit data, the maturity level was 60%, which confirms the effectiveness of the business management system of Titran-Express. Apart from the IRIS certificate, the company obtained the certificate of conformity with the requirements of international ISO 9001:2008 and interstate GOST ISO 9001-2011 standards. The audit was conducted by the Russian branch DQS Holding GmbH – the international certification body.
Titran-Express is a freight car repair enterprise and head servicing center for operational maintenance of new generation freight cars.
Tihvin Assembly Plant “Titran-Express” intends to continue the implementation of actions aimed at the development of the business management system, the enhancement of railway products quality level and reliability, as well as optimization of production resources.
