Phase One was recently awarded a contract in support of Amtrak’s mobile management tool for Chicago’s Union Station. As the prime contractor, Phase One will use its expertise in Salesforce to help Amtrak better manage train turn-around times and provide transparency to their processes.
Yard masters will be using the application to schedule the activities associated with preparing each train for departure, and supervisors will notify the yard master when activities are complete. It is expected that this will not only support real time decision making but also provide visibility into issues that can now be resolved before trains enter the yard.

Most importantly, it’s another example of Phase One bringing our best ideas to a client. I’m increasingly convinced that while that approach sounds simple, it is truly unique and it works,” said Jodi Huston, Vice President at Phase One.
