In the next three years, the most of transport budget will be delivered for metro construction projects. The total value of the budget is RUB 157 billion (USD 2.48 billion).
Over 92 percent of all Moscow’s budget expenses, with more than RUB 1.8 trillion (USD 28.4 billion) will be spent on social support, and the continuing development of transport, education, healthcare and tourism and city services. In 2017 the city plans to spend almost RUB 1.98 trillion (USD 31 billion) and invest another RUB 484 billion (USD 7.6 billion).
For transport projects, the Russia’s capital will earmark RUB 434 billion (USD 6.85 billion) for the development of public transport, roads and car parks, the modernisation of railways, and repair and construction of the transport infrastructure. This sum will be increased to RUB 436.9 billion (USD 6.9 billion) in 2018 and to RUB 435.6 billion (USD 6.87 billion) in 2019. Investment will amount to RUB 316 billion (almost 50 billion) in 2017, RUB 337.5 billion (USD 5.3 billion) in 2018 and RUB 333.7 billion (USD 5.2 billion) in 2019.
