From 11 December onwards, ÖBB will be offering 6 new night trains, in addition to the 9 ones already running. In the future, they will be operating under the ÖBB Nightjet brand. The 6 new ÖBB Nightjet lines will connect Innsbruck and Munich with Hamburg and Düsseldorf daily. In addition to this, they connect Hamburg and Berlin with Zurich, and Munich, Salzburg and Villach with Venice, Rome and Milan.
Another service added is that on the route between Innsbruck and Hamburg, cars and motorcycles can be transported on the Nightjets daily. Between Innsbruck and Düsseldorf, this is possible three times a week.
The popular ÖBB night train connections from Hamburg and Düsseldorf to Vienna (both of which offer car and motorcycle transport) as well as from Austria to Switzerland and Italy will continue to be available. The same applies to the night trains within Austria.
