Nomad Digital has successfully partnered with Swiss train-builder Stadler to deliver passenger WiFi to 36 new Arriva Flirt trains in the Netherlands.
These state-of-the-art new networked trains built by Stadler have Nomad’s open connectivity infrastructure built into them. It also marks the first deployment of Nomad’s next-generation R4551 platform in the Netherlands, offering the very latest in next-generation technology and performance.
Nomad’s newest compact WiFi router architecture provides a technology platform which incorporates new state-of-the-art technologies such as integrated next-generation modems and access points, enabling the quick integration of additional operational applications, providing a scalable, future-proofed solution to the customer.
Stadler will deliver the new trains to Arriva, who will manage services in the Limburg (south) area of the country.
