Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey held talks to define transport conditions and tariff policy for the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars line, Trend reports.
Currently, infrastructure works on Georgia’s territory to Turkey border are completed, and works on power supply, installation of signalisation systems are expected to be finished in the near future. After that, the area will be put in commission, Javid Gurbanov, head of Azerbaijan Railways explained.
In Turkey, most of work has already been completed and the country’s authorities plan to construct a logistics center in the Kars province within the framework of the project
The Baku-Tbilisi-Kars should be put into operation in November 2016.
