The start of temporary operations of the Kerch Bridge railway segment is postponed for one year to December 2019, according to a decree of the Russian Government. The decree amends terms of the government contract for the bridge design and construction.
“Temporary operation of the built railway at the facility will start on 1 December 2019,” the document says.
Motor vehicles traffic over the bridge is scheduled to be opened on 18 December 2018.
