The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development is considering extending the second tranche of a loan to the Government of Kosovo to rehabilitate the southern part of the railway line from Fushë Kosovë, near Pristina to Mitrovicë. The total length of the second phase of the line (Fushe Kosove – MItrovica) is 34 km all.
Under the project, the Infrakos will launch a tender for consultancy services to prepare the documentation for the rehabilitation of the central section of the Railway Route 10.
The budget available for the contract is EUR 1 million (exclusive of VAT). The contract is expected to start in Q4 2016 and has an estimated overall duration of 6 months.
