Evraz NTMK certified 5 wheel designs, being eligible to supply wheels to the Czech Railways (ČD). The certificate has been issued for solid curved wheels ВА-409, 428, 314, 004, 005. ВА-004, ВА-005 and ВА-314 wheels are also certified according to the European TSI standard. Before the end of Q3 2016 another two designs will be certified in accordance with TSI.
Wheel constructions for these wheels were introduced into the commercial production by Evraz in 2014-2016. The wheels are intended for freight railcars, and are produced in ER7 steel grade, which has been developed specifically for export markets. The steel hardness is set at min. 255 HB.

It is especially attractive for us, as Czech companies do not only arrange transportation, but also provide services, including maintenance, to other railway operators in Eastern Europe,” Evraz Vice President, Sales and Logistics, Ilya Shirokobrod said.
