Increasing volume of cargo on Trans Caspian Route agreed

transcaspianKazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Georgia have agreed to increase the volume of cargo traffic on Trans Caspian International Transport Route and is important to develop the competitiveness of the Corridor. Within the project, the involved countries agreen on “the effective tariff policy, the introduction of a single cargo transportation technology, the formation of a joint production of integrated logistics. Increased the number of Member States of the Trans-Caspian corridor is a must,” President of Kazakhstan Temir Zholy Askar Mamin said.
During the Trans-Caspian transport corridor meeting, chaired by Mamin, the three countries disscused the importance of the competitive tariffs definition, the increasing of ferries efficiency, and the development of transport system across the corridor.
Within the route, from China to the Caspian Sea, through Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Georgia, Turkey and Europe will be involved.
