The total volume of goods transported by Russian Federal Freight in April 2016 amounted to 15.2 million tons, 14% more than in April 2015, or 234,800 wagon departures.
The company loaded 210,200 gondolas, 13,200 boxcars, 7,600 platforms and 3,800 tanks in April. The total freight turnover of Federal Freight wagons in the reporting period reached 30.8 billion ton-kilometres, while the average daily loading volume amounted to 7,800 wagons.
In April 2016, Federal Freight accounted for 13.8% of all the freight traffic market on the network of Russian Railways.
