Rail freight carrier PKP Cargo is currently securing higher rates in new contracts signed and hopes for higher shipments of construction materials in the second half of the year, company officials said.
“We want to increase our transport capacities in the light of expected increase in shipments of aggregate and construction materials in H2,” deputy CEO for trade Grzegorz Fingas said.
“We are expecting a more pronounced move in the last quarter of the year, when the 2014-2020 perspective will be launched,” COO Jaroslaw Klasa added.
