Macedonian Railways will launch in the 2nd quarter of 2016 a tender on rolling stock acquisition, new electric locomotives, as well as the rehabilitation of the maintenance workshops. The proposed project has a total estimated cost of EUR 59 million.
Under the contract, the company will purchase 3 new electric locomotives. The contract is financed by EBRD.
