China’s National Development and Reform Commission has approved a construction project for the stage 2 of metro network in Fujian province, Fuzhou. The project is estimated at CNY 65.4 billion (USD 9.9 billion) and involves the construction of 3 lines which will increase the total length of the network to 147.5 km until 2021.
Line 4 project includes the construction of 24 km of metrou line and 21 stations. The value of the project is more than CNY 18 billion (USD 2.7 billion) and should be finalised until 2021 if works will start in 2017.
With a total value of CNY 19 billion (USD 2.8 billion), the Line 5 will have 24 km and 20 stations. The project should be completed by 2020.
Line 6 will have 40 km and 20 stations, and is evaluated at CNY 27.7 billion (USD 4 billion) and will be completed in 2019.
