Central Transit Passenger Company (CPPK) reported a reduction of orders from all regions it operates in with the exception of Moscow and Moscow Oblast. The regions initiated changes in train schedules, according to which 19 routes in total will be closed.
“Every year CPPK signs contracts with all 11 regions it operates in. The contract contains information on orders for transportation – routes, number of trains, number of cars of each train. All regions except Moscow and Moscow Oblast reduced their orders for transit transportation in 2016”, CPPK said in its press release.
