Siemens is interested in urban railway projects in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, Joe Kaeser, chief executive officer stated. The urban railway projects under construction in these two big cities have captured the attention of Siemens, which has plans to have long-term investment in the potential Vietnamese market, Kaeser said.
Siemens has experience in high-speed train technology and management, and is confident it can create difference to bring dwellers in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City higher living quality.
An urban railway project named Cat Linh – Ha Dong is under construction in Hanoi, whereas Ho Chi Minh City is expected to see the completion of its first-ever metro system in five or six years.
