Mitsui Rail Capital Europe has ordered 21 additional Siemens Vectron locomotives, of wich 10 locomotives will be AC version and 7 will be equipped as multi-system locomotives.
The first three locomotives were pre-produced and have already been handed over to MRCE by Siemens.
The ordered locomotives are due to be deployed in cross-border services between Germany and Austria, and between Germany, Austria and Italy.
With this new order MRCE will now own a fleet of 56 Vectron locomotives.
