Uzbek metal plant Uzmetkombinat held negotiations with a delegation of Estonian railway company Skinest Rail on developing technologies and supply of equipment within the investment project “Reconstruction of casting production”.
The sides considered the technical and financial issues involved in implementing the project “Reconstruction of casting production”, taking into account possible variants for mutual benefit.
The project’s implementation will help to decrease primary cost of the products and increase production volumes from 1,500 to 3,200 tonnes. The project cost is USD 4 million and will be implemented in 2016-2017.
The investment project was included in a programme of measures aimed to ensure structural reforms, modernization and diversification of production for 2015-2019.
