Following a makeover, the railroad logistics center in Kolyadichi has been transformed into a dry port connected by transport infrastructure to seaports. Currently, the Kolyadichi terminal provides services in processing and transshipment of cargoes to the regions of Belarus, and also the CIS countries, Baltic states and abroad by rail and road. The terminal also processes cargoes for the combined transport train Viking and the container train Zubr.
This is one of the key projects for the Belarusian Railways in transport logistics that opens new prospects in the development of export and import cargo transportation, including on the Belarusian-Chinese route.
“The Kolyadichi terminal is in high demand among marine operators that use freighted and empty container storage and cargo delivery services,” Deputy Director for Cargo and Foreign Economic Activity at the Belarusian Railways Alexander Lizunov said.
