St. Petersburg Governor Georgy Poltavchenko and Transmashholding (TMH) President Andrey Bokarev signed a cooperation agreement on improvement of northern capital’s infrastructure. Parties have taken a decision on establishing a joint working group that will be in charge with modernization of the city transport infrastructure.
Under the Agreement Holding Company representatives will be engaged in activities of the Transport System Development Coordination Council of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region and Investment Board of St. Petersburg Governor.
Two plants of the Transmashholding Group are located in St. Petersburg. These are Oktyabrsky Electric Railway Car Repair Plant specializing in production and maintenance of Metro carriages, overhaul and modernization of EMUs, diesel trains and tramways and Production Company KMT manufacturing rolling stock components.
