Florida East Coast Railway (FECR) has launched a new online portal, FECR Connect, which allows customers to track freight shipments and equipment across the network. It also streamlines the process of submitting and managing shipping instructions electronically.
“The FECR Connect portal makes scheduling, planning and tracing shipments efficient and convenient for our customers, which assists them in planning their operations. … our new web based portal, FECR Connect … enables us to provide the complete and current information needed by today’s supply chains managers,” said James R. Hertwig, president & CEO of FECR.
The portal comes with a Customer Dashboard, which provides customers with a comprehensive view of all shipments in the FECR system at any time, or the detailed history of a particular shipment.
