LvivElektroTrans intends using the proceeds of a loan from the EBRD for a project to rehabilitate public transport system in the City of Lviv. The estimated cost is EUR 16 million and includes power supply/traction substations modernisation, supply of used/refurbished tram cars and modernisation of tram depot.
The project will require the procurement of supply of new three-section articulated tram vehicles and construction of traction substation.
Tendering for the contracts is expected to begin in the 2nd quarter of 2015.
