The construction works for renewal and signalling works for Samsun – Kalin railway line will start in May 2015. The consortium composed of Celikler – Gulermak – AZD is the contractor of the project. Rail traffic is announced to continue in the first 6 months, railturkey.org informs. The railway will be closed for 2 years after then. Turkish Railways (TCDD) announced that, there will be construction works in the railway between Samsun and Kalin which is connecting Samsun to national rail network for 32 months starting with 2015.
