For 2014, CAF reported a net turnover of 1.44 billion euros, 82.3% of this being associated with global markets. The EBITDA margin of the company amounted to 146.4 million euros at the end of last year. The company’s profit before corporate tax stood at 80.5 million euros and the net profit after corporate tax at 62.1 million euros.
Currently, some of CAF’s important ongoing projects include the supply of suburban units for São Paulo and Belo Horizonte (Brazil), Trieste and Bari (Italy), Auckland (New Zealand) and EuskoTrenbideak; trains for Amtrak (USA), Holland and Saudi Arabia; trams for the cities of Stockholm, Houston, Cincinnati, Kansas, Boston, Birmingham, Freiburg, Tallin, Utrecht, Budapest, St. Etienne and Kaohsiung (Taiwan); and metro units for cities such as Rome, Bucharest, São Paulo, Medellín, Santiago de Chile, Helsinki and Istanbul.
