Because of the savings programme imposed by Belgian railway infrastructure manager Infrabel, there will not be funds for the implementation of the 18 priority railway projects identified by the Walloon Government. The region will also lack funds for completing the investment plans underway, said the Walloon Minister of Public Transport, Maxime Prévot. Of the 18 priority railway projects, this month, the Walloon authorities should have identified few essential projects for implementation.
