Kazakh Railways and administration of Zhengzhou City (Henan Province, China) in close cooperation with postal operators of China, Kazakhstan and Russia are increasing the export and transit potential with the introduction of the new service – transporting commercial mail.
In the implementation of intergovernmental agreements to create “economic zone of the Silk Road”, KTZ Express and Zhengzhou International Hub Development and Construction Co signed strategic partnership agreement for consolidation of shared resources in the field of mailings from Zhengzhou (China) to Kazakhstan, Russia and Europe.
Customers – the postal administrations of China, Russia and Kazakhstan offered a full range of transportation and logistics services. For the first time a new, rapidly developing area – international transit transport of mail – was mastered .
Thus, December 3, as part of a regular container train Zhengzhou – Hamburg was implemented a pilot sending containers with consolidation and customs clearance of multimodal scheme in Astana and then to Moscow.
This service is at a distance of 7,743 km (Zhengzhou – Astana – Moscow) offers delivery of commercial and regular mail in just 10 days.
