Azerbaijani Ambassador to the Czech Republic Farid Shafiyev said that the Czech Government chose Azerbaijan as a priority potential market for its companies and called for expansion of cooperation with the country.
The Czech Government has big hopes for expansion of Czech companies on the market of construction, engineering and transportation infrastructure of Azerbaijan. Czech companies plan to take part in construction of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway. Shafiyev added that Czech companies had contracts with Azerbaijan worth about USD 1 Billion.
