Serbia’s Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic and his Czech counterpart Bohuslav Sobotka discussed greater participation of Czech companies in the construction of infrastructure projects in Serbia, such as work on the modernisation of the Nis – Dimitrovgrad railway line.
The Czech Republic considers Serbia a friendly country and this is a good opportunity to make a step forward in our relations, Sobotka underlined.
In 2013, the trade between Serbia and the Czech Republic increased by 32% and in 2014 by 10.8%, which amounts to between EUR 620mln and EUR 630 mln.
The Serbian Prime Minister expressed the hope that in the years ahead, the exchange of goods will reach EUR 1bn.
