Lviv railways will prepare 650 passenger wagons for the winter period, including 560 wagons consuming combined coal and power heating, while the rest of the wagons are heated with coal.
287 units of suburban rolling stock have been tested (87.7% of the whole suburban rolling stock for passenger transportation), including nine diesel locomotives, 76 power sections of diesel trains, two rail buses, 17 PV-51 wagons and 179 power sections.
By October 30 the whole rolling stock will be ready for the operation in the winter period, it will be tested and malfunction will be removed. The special commission will accept each wagon.
Lviv Railways crosses seven regions, including Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Zakarpattia, Chernivtsi, Vinnytsia, Ternopil and Volyn.
