Kazakhstan continues to implement the project of expansion of Aktau port and launched the construction of a new railroad Borzhakty – Ersai.
The new line Borzhakty – Ersai will create infrastructural basis for the implementation of the project on the construction of the ferry complex of the Kuryk port and several industrial projects in the coastal zone. As a result of implementation of all projects more than 4,000 new workplaces will be created. The total amount of investment into development of railroad and port infrastructure of Mangistau region over the last 5 years made more than $ 200 billion tenge.
