Three admissible bidders have submitted offers in the tender for selecting the winner of the design contract of an intermodal terminal in the Bulgarian port of Varna. There have been seven total bids, including the non-admissible ones.
The prices of the offers have ranged between BGN 8.24 Million (EUR 4.2 Million) and BGN 10.6 Million (EUR 5.4 Million), announced the Ministry of Transport. The lowest bid has been submitted by MT Varna Developers consortium.
At the beginning of the month, the Ministry of Transport warned that the project will be halted in case the winners of the contract are not selected until 15 September.
