WORLD’S FOURTH BIGGEST RAILWAY EXHIBITION:
EURASIA RAIL WILL OPEN ITS DOORS ON MARCH
The world’s fourth biggest exhibition in its field, Eurasia Railway: 4th International Rolling Stock, Infrastructure and Logistics Exhibition is set to be organized between 06-08 March 2014 in the Istanbul Expo Center (IFM) in Istanbul, Turkey.
At the exhibition TCDD (Turkish State Railways) and its subsidiary corporations including TÜVASAŞ (Turkish Wagon Industry Inc.), TÜDEMSAŞ (Turkish Railway Machines Industry Inc.), and TÜLOMSAŞ (Turkish Locomotive and Engine Industry Inc.) will present innovations related to wagons of the Turkish railways, locomotives, railway technologies produced by the local manufactures within the railway sector.
In 2013, the exhibition had 287 exhibitor companies from 25 different countries (170 international) and 17.920 professional visitors. Eurasia Rail 2014 will be organized on 3 halls plus the Main Foyer on a gross area of 17.000 sqm with 300 companies.
Many industry giants from Turkey and worldwide have already reserved their booths at the exhibition including SIEMENS, ABB, BOMBARDIER, ANSALDO, ALSTOM, WABTEC, VOSSLOH, THALES, TALGO, KNORR BREMSE, VOITH TURBO, SAVRONIK, KARDEMİR, ULAŞIM AŞ, HYUNDAI ROTEM, DURMAZLAR next to national pavilion participation from Germany, the United Kingdom, Czech Republic, Russian Federation, Republic of China, France, Italy, Romania, and Poland.
The exhibition which was first organized in Ankara, Turkey had subsequently 117 exhibitors in 2011, 188 in 2012 and 287 in the year of 2013.
Eurasia Rail Exhibition, which is supported by the Turkish Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications and Turkish Railways (TCDD), in June 2012, received the approval of UFI (The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry).
At the same time, the fact that the government of Czech Republic and Poland giving financial support to national pavilion participation proves the importance of Eurasia Rail in the international market.
The fact that during the exhibition there are organized different seminars and conferences with the participation of foreign companies will attract the attention of the world press regarding this field of industry.
